Redken Products

VS.

When I fried my hair, I found a new salon, and I've been there ever since.
I'm not sure yet if it's a bad or good thing, but I'm kind of a product addict when it comes to hair. If the stylist recommends a product to me, I get it. So, naturally, I've been hooked on Redken hair products since the summer of '07. Product addict being said, I like to shop smart. When I go to the mall I park by my salon and peek in to see if they have any Redken specials I should take advantage of, and once in a while, they do! For a while I was shopping online and saving up to go on the trip to Arizona, plus I worked at Hollister over the winter. Meaning, I hadn't been to the mall in a while. I decided to give a cheaper brand a chance. I thought that Herbal Essences' "Long Term Relationship" Shampoo would be a good one to choose.
Wrong! I could tell my hair wasn't itself.
A couple days ago, I returned to the mall, and Redken liters were on sale! (Yippee!) So I picked some of my precious shampoo, and after just one wash, I can tell it leaves my hair much glossier, and softer.

Mmm.

**A side note, I used Redken conditioner the whole time, because I will always have a fear of my hair getting damaged.

Splendid top!

I just decided. Right now. I'm going to Madison after NWTC.

I could work for Associated, and I could get a fun weekend job at a ritzy restaurant or at Bop or something.

It would be so cool because my dad went to Madison, and Spencer's dad won't quiet down about how much he wants Spencer and me to go there.

Plus I think it would be good for Spence to be in a big city... maybe it would be easier to find his niche and figure out what he really wants to do. Hmm?

I think... my dad would maybe want me to stay in the dorms? Because that's what he did, and he said his friends who got apartments had dingy ones that weren't very nice, and they were expensive. Although in a dorm you have to share the bathroom, and they might be picky about guests or whatever.
Then again, I think Spencer would like it if we didn't live together, because we could "keep our innocence" ;) Plus, I think he might be able to get financial aid to pay for all or some of the rooming expense... hm! That is something interesting to consider. I definitely would not have a roommate, but if Spencer did get financial aid he'd probably have to have one. But he could just come spend the night with me all the time :] Then when his family came down we could say we have separate places! haha. That'd be the best of both worlds I think. I'll have to look into it.
Maybe a roommate would be good for Spence, maybe he'd be super cool and they'd become best friends! haha.
I'd probably end up killing mine if I had one. I'd leave my stuff all over, but get frustrated if she didn't clean hers up. I'd be pissed if she had people over, but Spencer would practically live with us.
Yeah, a roommate for Rose would not work. haha.

Well! I have to look into this Ambassador thing for TC, and I can throw that on my Madison application. I did hear they take most transfer students, it's just competitive to get in as a Freshman.

Yay! Well... we'll see what happens :]

That moment.

Have you ever had a moment where you realize...

Everything is going to be okay.

You can honestly see your life panning out, come good things or bad, the unexpected and the completely expected. Then you just take it all in.

You calmly accept that this is how it's going to be. It makes you feel fuzzy. You know you'll have your share of indecision and even wrong choices, but in the end, you'll be happy.

It feels good.

I just don't understand.

Why do some people have to be such assholes?
Do you get joy in ruining other peoples days?

Well, I say, fuck you. I'm going to carry on with my day, and you can carry on with yours. Being an asshole, and making everyone hate you.

Let's see who's happiest in the end, hm?

Should I get it?

SPLEN20281

Original Price: $142.00

Rosebud, Willow: $42.60 FINAL SALE*
*Final Sale items are not-returnable

It's a Spendid dress, (Made in the US!) and it's on final clearance.
I'm really considering it, but I wish I could try it on. I was to know if the material is durable and/or sheer. (aka, if it's worth the money)

I'm still on the fence. We'll have to see what I decide/what's left in stock when I get paid on the 17th. Plus, I might pick up those Rich & Skinny jeans from Besselli tomorrow. If that's the case, I'll give my dad a nice chunk of my paycheck for my credit card bill... hm!

There's green too! )

Rose Coronet )
Silk roses, wax buds and Ostrich feathers create a very natural composition on this coronet

Although I don't necessarily agree with the Ostrich feathers, the overall look is beautiful.

A coronet is a small crown consisting of ornaments fixed on a metal ring. Unlike a crown, a coronet never has arches. (Wikipedia)

Hummus!

I tried hummus for the first time ever.

DELICIOUS!

Hummus is high in iron and vitamin C, and also has significant amounts of folate and vitamin B6.[23] The chickpeas make it a good source of protein and dietary fiber. Depending on the recipe hummus carries varying amounts of monounsaturated fat.[24] Hummus is useful in vegetarian and vegan diets and like other combinations of grains and pulses, when eaten with bread it serves as a complete protein.

Absolutely perfect.
A healthy appetizer?! Ohhh yes. Mmmm

Boyfriend Fit

For some reason lately, I've been all about the "boyfriend fit" clothes! I was a bit skeptical about the up-and-coming trend. (Actually it's been around fashion for a while, but there's quite a lag time for things to hit my town haha.) But recently, I've been obsessed.

I love these jeans. To be honest with you though, they looked better on me than the model! haha.

Rich & Skinny

Vintage Boyfriend Jeans

Forget about the boyfriend, we've only got eyes for these jeans.

Made in the U.S.A.

RSKIN20103

Original Price: $190.00

I really love this brand also!

Designer Bio: Rich & Skinny
What does every girl wish for? To be rich and skinny, of course, and thanks to Rich & Skinny denim, this dream can come true. Created by Michael Glasser, of Seven For All Mankind and Citizens of Humanity fame, and Joie Rucker, former owner of Joie, Rich & Skinny jeans are made of a unique stretch denim blend in styles that are as sexy as they are comfortable. "Rich" is for the details and "Skinny" is for how you'll feel when you wear the incredible fit, so the only question now is what are you waiting for?

Staying with the boyfriend clothes, I love the lose, yet well fitted, yet relaxed blazer. (I'm amazed such a thing exists!)
